A photo shoot is a beautiful way to capture memories from your time in the Netherlands, whether you live here or are visiting for a short getaway. Rain or shine, you will leave with stunning images set against the charm and character of these incredible cities.
Most couples choose a two hour session, which gives us plenty of time to explore some of the most iconic spots in Amsterdam or The Hague, along with a few hidden gems along the way. Canals, historic architecture, cosy corners — each location adds its own magic to your story.
Before your session, we will talk through the places you would love to see. From there, I carefully plan a route that allows us to make the most of your time while keeping the experience relaxed and enjoyable.
This is more than just a photo shoot. It is a chance to explore, connect, and create timeless memories in one of the most beautiful corners of Europe.

If timings allow, I love to begin your session around 90 minutes before sunset. This gives us the most beautiful golden light to work with, soft, warm, and incredibly flattering. We will continue shooting as the sun dips below the horizon and the sky turns a deep blue, while the city lights begin to glow. Those twilight moments often create some of my very favourite images.
And please do not let the thought of rain put you off. Some of my most magical sessions in The Hague and Amsterdam have taken place on dark, rainy days. The way the streetlights reflect on wet cobblestones, the shimmer of puddles, the atmosphere in the air, it all adds depth, romance, and character to your photographs.
Whenever possible, I prefer to follow a walking route. These cities are best experienced on foot, where you can truly soak in the details you might otherwise miss by taking a taxi or the metro. Sometimes the most unexpected corners end up being the most special backdrops.
